My Photography Gear
What camera do you use?
I get this question a lot. I wish the answer was simple, but the camera itself doesn't necessarily dictate the quality of the photos. Of course, it is a good start, without a camera, you wouldn't be able to take a photo. But as my knowledge about photography grew, my camera gear did as well.
Currently, my one and only camera is Canon M6 Mark II. It is a fantastic piece of equipment which is mirrorless and weighs only 408g. It's light, small and has a built-in WIFI. Thanks to that, I can send photos straight to my phone when I am on the road and quickly edit them and post on Instagram if needed. The screen rotates and could be used as a vlogging camera.
Okay, now you have the camera, let's talk about lenses.
I use Canon 100mm f 2.8 is USM for macro & portraits. It creates beautiful bokeh and you can photograph bees safely from a distance :) Whenever I use this lens, I know I will get pretty and sharp shots.
The next lens I use is Canon 24-70mm f 2.8 is USM - perfect for everything! From landscapes to family photoshoots, it handles everything. It is really heavy though and good stability is the key.
And finally, Canon 50mm f 1.8. Cheap, light and small. Ideal for taking on the road. A wide aperture makes it a perfect lens for low-light situations.
Additionally, I also use Godox TT685C Flashgun for Canon. I purchased it specifically for weddings and parties. With better cameras, you can probably get away using higher ISO, but I want to stay away from using ISO (higher ISO - more noise). That is why flashguns are a good addition because even though it's a flash system, it bounces off walls and lights up faces. To make it even softer, I put a diffuser on top of it. It's called MagSphere and it is not a must-have item, but I have read a lot of good things about it.
I hope you find it helpful and if you ever have any questions, feel free to email me!
